  • Saving money is important

We all know that money doesn’t grow on trees. We must work to earn it. However, what we do with it after we earn it becomes a concern, particularly as we get older. There are three important reasons why saving money is one of the most important things that we can do for ourselves and our families.

    Job Loss
Beleive it or not, we could all lose our jobs fairly quickly for any number of reasons. corporate layoffs and downsizing could be the culprit. However, if you’re not prepared to deal with a situation like this you may be in big trouble. You should have at least three months of income saved in the event of a job loss. Imagine having to provide for your family with no job in sight.

    Unseen Crisis
We don’t know what the future holds for us or anyone else. This is why it’s a good idea to be prepared for the unexpected. Your child could be at school and end up breaking his leg in three places. Your insurance may cover some of his therapy but not all of it. You may need to dip into your savings to cover the cost. However, if there are no savings funds to dip into, what are you to do? You need to have money saved in the event of any unseen unfortuante situation.

    Big Purchases
You may decide that it’s finally time to buy that brand new RV you’ve been eyeing for the past few months. If you don’t have a down payment saved, it will be difficult, if not impossible to make a big purchase like that. Save your money. Even when you don’t know what you want to buy. The money will be there for you when you need it. However, wolf stove parts won’t help you.

If ever there was an argument for saving money, its the fear of the unexpected. We never know what’s going to happen but we can erase a lot of fear by saving our money. If we can do this we are better-prepared for all the difficult situations that may come our way. Conversely, we may not be ready for all the amazing opportunities that come our way either, if we fail to save.
